I offer a range of traditional Chinese medicine methods in my clinics, including acupuncture, electro acupuncture, Tui Na (Chinese medical massage), cupping, Gua Sha, moxibustion and Chinese herbal medicine, thus providing a full holistic health service to patients.
Having studied for three years at the Northern College of Acupuncture in York, I was awarded a Post Graduate Diploma in Acupuncture at Distinction level. I have since gone on to complete a professional diploma in Tui Na (Chinese medical massage) and train in the advanced systems of Dr Tan’s Balance Method Acupuncture and Master Tung’s system, specialising in particular in musculoskeletal pain conditions. In addition, I have recently completed an MSc in Chinese Herbal Medicine at the Northern College of Acupuncture in York.
I am a fully licensed practitioner with Northumberland County Council and Newcastle City Council and a member of the British Acupuncture Council, a Professional Standards Authority registered governing body, and the Register of Chinese Herbal Medicine.
